ABOUT US
In the spring of 1994 an Irishmen had a good idea... The idea was to provide a unique Irish experience incorporating the warmth of an Irish pub with Irish-American cuisine along with the enthusiasm of his beloved sports (Irish Rugby, Boxing, Baseball to name a few) and all the while maintaining the same charm and hospitality of a more traditional establishment. The idea became a reality twenty-seven years ago when that Irishman opened Mo Mhuirnín's Irish Pub & Sports Bar in the heart of Midtown Manhattan.
Nearly three decades on, Moe's (as the regular patrons and even the staff lovingly call her) has become a genuine family affair. You see, that Irishman met himself a lass (that'd be the darlin' we're named for) and they had themselves a trio of sons (and a daughter, too). Now the oldest two are helping to run the place, one of which is often found tending bar and occasionally charming the customers with a song or two.
The Tadhgs have built a reputation for hospitality, entertainment, and one of the best collections of Irish Whiskey in all of New York City. But don't take our word for it, come on in and order a shot yourself.
